Coach Winston is a Scott Phillips 2 stripe Brown Belt, teaches Tuesday night's no-gi class, and is an innovative and creative Instructor.
Coach Winston began studying Jiu-Jitsu at Invincible Academy under 3rd Degree Black Belt Professor Scott Phillips in 2022, and very quickly became part of the Invincible Family!
Winston started wrestling in high school under W.A.C. Champion Glen Takahashi.
Prior to joining Scott Phillips' Invincible Academy, he studied various international martial arts independently, eventually began formal Brazilan Jiu-Jitsu training under Master Royler Gracie’s 4th Degree Black Belt, Professor Regis Lebre, 5th Degree Black Belt World Champion Prof. Marcus Norat, and a revolving door of world class Black Belts from across the US and Brazil.
