Coach Hern is a Scott Phillips 3 stripe Brown Belt and multiple time Masters Jiu Jitsu World Champion.
As a former Division I wrestler from Oregon State University, Brandon brings a disciplined, structured, and intense approach to martial arts competition. His leadership background includes 10 years of military service as both an Infantryman and an Infantry Officer, a Vice President at a Fortune 100 company, and is currently a successful business owner and entrepreneur. Coach Hern loves working with highly motivated children and adults, who can commit to max effort during training times – skill levels are not important.
Coach Hern and his family enjoy traveling, building LEGOs and working hard in everything we do.
Coach Hern instructs the competition class which focuses on the competition mindset, proper physical care and nutrition, and sport focused Jiu Jitsu – both GI and NO-GI.
